Bio

Through his art, Alexandr Luc - born in Transilvania, România in 1994 - showcases the creative and subversive stance that he takes in relation to the study of social constructions and the production and perception of visual art.

The artist resides in the northern part of Berlin, Germany, he is 176 cm tall, and if he weren't making art, he would most likely explore the field of Egyptology.

Künstlerstatement / Artist

Having studied linguistics and sociology, Alexandr seeks to deploy and combine diverse visual art techniques with sociological concepts so as to better understand social reality and its impact on individuals. By doing so, the artist thus challenges the fine line between artistic creation, social meaning, and existentialism.

So far, the media used in his projects and exhibitions have been: acrylics on wood, cardboard, and cork; watercolours, pencils, and markers on watercolour and acrylic paper; digital photography and editing; digital art and design; poetry and text editing.
