The exhibition Death? Yes/ No/ Maybe explores humanity’s enduring pursuit of immortality through the intersecting fields of contemporary art, scientific research, and speculative practice. Bringing together visual artworks, live performances, immersive environments, and participatory experiences, the exhibition examines how the desire to transcend biological limits is reshaping culture, identity, and the future of the human body.
Grounded in scientific discourse, the exhibition engages with ongoing research in gerontology, biomedical longevity, and experimental practices such as biohacking, regenerative medicine, epigenetics, and human-machine integration. Artists respond to these developments by translating laboratory processes, biological data, and emerging technologies into aesthetic, sensory, and conceptual forms, bridging empirical science with imaginative inquiry.
At this event organised by the artist collective A Hidden Variable, I present my abstract painting Portrait of Consciousness doubting its own Existence III. **
