Perspectives from India, Romania, and Brazil

RAV are a Berlin-based artist collective founded by Ritayan Rath, Alexandr Luc, and Vanessa Neuber who have all previously worked together as members of the Artyshox Collective. Working across painting, sculpture, installations, collages, and digital art, RAV transform exhibition spaces into immersive experiences which provoke both thoughts and senses. The artists’ practice focuses on broad topics such as identity, mythology or existentialism, and, with each exhibition, they aim to create a separate reality where art, viewers, and their interaction come together in an organic and authentic manner.

United by experimentation and interdisciplinary research, the trio thus expand the possibilities of contemporary art through concepts and artworks that connect materiality, symbolism, and collective experience. This way, the trio explore their central themes in particular by drawing inspiration from their upbringing in India, Romania, and Brazil.
